  1. School Management Committee (SMC):
  • Responsibilities: Ensure overall management and administration of the school, implement CBSE policies, oversee school operations, and make strategic decisions.
  • Members: School principal, senior teachers, parent representatives, community members and other stakeholders.
  • Functions: Develop and review school policies, monitor school performance, and ensure compliance with regulations.

 

  1. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA):
  • Responsibilities: Facilitate communication between parents and the school, organize meetings, and address parent concerns.
  • Members: Elected parent representatives, teachers and school principal.
  • Functions: Organize parent-teacher meetings, discuss student progress, and plan collaborative activities.

 

  1. Academic Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Plan and develop the curriculum, monitor academic progress, enhance teaching quality, and organize teacher training.
  • Members: Head of academics, department heads, senior teachers.
  • Functions: Develop academic plans, review syllabus, analyze student performance data, and recommend improvements.

 

  1. Grievance Redressal Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Address grievances of students, parents, and staff, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
  • Members: Principal, senior teachers and administrative staff.
  • Functions: Receive and review complaints, conduct investigations, and provide resolutions.

 

  1. Admission Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Manage the admission process, ensure compliance with CBSE norms, and address admission-related queries.
  • Members: Principal, admission coordinator and senior teachers.
  • Functions: Develop admission criteria, process applications, conduct interviews/tests, and resolve admission grievances.

 

  1. Cultural Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Organize cultural events and activities, promote arts, music, and drama.
  • Members: Cultural coordinator, art and music teachers and student representatives.
  • Functions: Plan annual cultural calendar, manage event logistics, and encourage student participation.

 

  1. Anti-Bullying Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Address and prevent bullying incidents, promote a safe and respectful school environment, and create awareness about the effects of bullying.
  • Members: Principal or vice-principal, school counselor, senior teachers and student representatives.
  • Functions: Develop and implement anti-bullying policies.

                    Organize workshops and awareness programs for students, staff, and parents.

                                   Provide support and counseling to victims of bullying.

                                   Investigate reported bullying incidents and take appropriate disciplinary actions.

                                   Promote peer mentoring and conflict resolution programs.

 

  1. Sexual Harassment Committee:
  • Responsibilities: Address complaints related to sexual harassment, ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students and staff, and comply with legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Members: Principal or vice-principal, designated senior teacher, school counselor and a female staff member (as per guidelines).
  • Functions: Develop and implement a comprehensive sexual harassment policy.

                                  Organize training sessions on sexual harassment awareness and prevention for students and staff.

                                  Establish a confidential mechanism for reporting incidents.

                                  Conduct thorough investigations of complaints and ensure due process.

                                  Provide support and counseling to victims of sexual harassment.

                                  Promote gender sensitivity and respectful behavior through various programs and activities.
